The call for proposals for this year's EmacsConf is now open! Gather your thoughts on the joy of #Emacs and hit M-x submit by September 30th.

Finally writing another little update ^_^

Opening and closing tickets is implemented. Submitting patches / merge requests too.

Now implementing updates to MRs and merging MRs. Then updating the spec.

Huge thanks to @NGIZero for the funding!

I hope we can make a patch/MR federation demo sometime soon.

In August, @peertube entered a new stage in the development of #PeerTube v3. The objective is to raise €60k so they can implement, (1) global search, (2) moderation, (3) plugins & playlists, and (4) live streaming, here's the roadmap:

They already raised €37k which covers steps (1) and (2) and we're almost there for step (3) which is €40k.

Let's help build a decentralized alternative to #YouTube. Please boost and, if possible, donate.

Announcing Emacs online Asia-Pacific (APAC) meetup, Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 1400 IST with Jitsi and #emacs on DM if interested to give a talk or demo!

Just found that #OrgMode let you attach files to an outline node and then let you refer to these attachments with links. And you can attach multiple files on one outline.

C-c C-a a: Attach a file to the current outline
C-c C-a o: Open file attached to the current outline

When you put a link, start it's URL with "attachment:" and #Emacs will ask you wich attachment you want to link to.

When you attach a file, it is copied inside a data/ folder.
