I wrote about the RepRap 3D printer, which I have been working on with my younger brother.
It was fascinating to see the printer in action for the first
time. That was just the beginning, the continuous calibration and
tweaking efforts start from here now 🚀.

🚀 Alright fedi gang, do your magic. Looking for a junior #Django dev in the UTC+05:00 to UTC+08:00 timezone.
The company is a small biz, and isn't a total dumpster fire as far as treating you goes. I was quite pleasantly surprised, in fact. Fully remote.
Project is ~2 months in and a standard Django thingy.
You'll work with me. Feel free to check my site to get a sense of who I am. Happy to help you throughout your onboarding and beyond. Ask me questions on my XMPP/Telegram.
TIL about BSW screw thread standard https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Standard_Whitworth
Came across this when a local store gave 1/8" screws and a thread tap instead of M3. Seems to be still used in some of the equipments in India? The screws and thread tap was a bit rusty though, might be old as well.
This answered why some of the bolts I already have are different than metric ones. 😄

I am delighted to launch the 'Libre Tech Shop' - a unique shop for products that respect your freedom to learn, hack, extend and do things yourself.
Check out the online shop at:
The background story behind this launch:
https://abhas.io/libretechshop/
Here - you'll be able to buy liberated computers, hackable mechanical keyboards, private and secure home automation solutions, wireless routers, spare parts and much more.
https://gohugo.io/about/hugo-and-gdpr/#all-privacy-settings page from #Hugo docs has options to tweak privacy related settings of internal templates like Twitter, YouTube etc.
After moving away from Google Fonts, Google Analytics, I also removed Disqus comments from my website. Instead of implementing an alternative commenting system, I decided to remove it altogether.
I have been self-hosting @plausible since last 3 months. It has been a great experience so far. I'm free from the guilt of
compromising the privacy of my readers. I get the required stats in
one glance. Updates are painless. Read more about my experience: https://geeksocket.in/posts/plausible-analytics/
What is the best way for me to learn how to use #blind #accessibility options? I thought that I could get a better understanding of people's needs by experiencing how they use their computer.
